CAE Eligible 2 CAE Credit

Creating effective communications doesn’t start with an email send – it happens long before that with a strategic plan for how you market and communicate with your audience. This session is geared at helping you think more strategically about your digital marketing and communications and learning how to leverage your data to “listen” for clues on audience needs. Every day people are visiting your website, consuming content, and attending events - thereby leaving behind digital breadcrumbs about their personal interests and level of engagement with your brand. Attend this highly interactive, hands-on workshop to learn the framework for creating a digital marketing strategic plan and how to use data as an actionable tool to drive more personal content that yields better results. Attendees will learn from instructors and then apply the material during the workshop as they build the elements of their digital marketing strategic plan so they can build on it when they return to the office.

Key Takeaways:
Understand how to leverage data and context to anticipate audience needs and deliver the right content to the right person at the right time.

Design an automated nurture email campaign that is aimed at building engagement with an individual new to your brand (i.e. first time, member, donor, customer).

Build a predictive scoring model using demographic and behavioral data to identify optimal leads and engaged constituents. Learn how to use this data to measure performance, identify “at-risk” individuals, and incorporate into your campaign strategy.

Learn how to use Informz analytics to track performance, measure ROI, and target messaging based on behavior.

Members of your organization have joined your group seeking togetherness in the spirit of community. They feel connected with your organization's cause and its industry. Consistently, you count on levels of participation from some members. These “sure-fire” individuals help generate non-dues revenue with actions like attending events and making donations. Other members, though they have started strong in the beginning, may eventually start to decline in their participation and after a while, you notice that they are playing little or no role in your organization's financial growth. In this session, learn how to use Informz to reach and reengage inactive users. Valuable data in your email campaigns are waiting to be discovered, and a closer look will uncover trends you should not overlook. See how you can win back inactive members, keep them engaged, and generate more revenue once again for your organization.

Attendees will:

  • Gain an understanding of your multidimensional audience.
  • Learn how trends over time will show the impact you are making in your email campaigns.
